QEHB Library Service is a multidisciplinary knowledge service supporting Trust staff in all departments and students during their placements.
We provide quality-assessed information, evidence-based resources and information skills training at the point of need in support of clinical practice, healthcare management and leadership, clinical research, ongoing professional development and academic study.
Our purpose is to contribute towards improving patient outcomes and helping to deliver the best in care.
The library has 24/7 availability for any user with a current and valid Queen Elizabeth Hospital swipe card. It holds more than 8,000 textbooks, 40 PCs, a number of study tables and access to our Staff Well-being Zone. Our self-service kiosk is available 24/7 for borrowing, returning and renewing books. Library staff are available 9am-5pm Monday-Friday excluding Bank Holidays.
Due to hospital security procedures the library does not allow access to anyone who is not a current staff member, student or volunteer with University Hospitals Birmingham Foundation Trust.
You can contact QE Library by phone on 0121 371 2485 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
